126 Ligers d’Or, 192 Ligers d’Argent, 203 Ligers de Bronze were awarded at the Concours des Ligers, which took place on February 4th 2007 at the Parc des Expositions of Angers.

Organized as a prelude to the Loire Wines Show  by the Union of French Œnologists and the Interprofessions, the Concours des Ligers distinguishes the best Val de Loire wines. 

The jury made up of 312 professionals (sommeliers, wine specialists, producers,  journalists…) tasted and marked 2029 Liger wines (white, red, rosé and sparkling wines).

521 were nominated and were awarded a prize.
